I’m very pleased to share that OpsMill has raised $14 million in a Series A funding round led by IRIS, with participation from Benhamou Global Ventures and existing investors Serena and Partech.
This investment validates the urgent need for a new approach to managing infrastructure intent at scale. In the months ahead, it will fuel the OpsMill mission to help network and infrastructure teams automate and adopt AIOps without data chaos.
Why We Started OpsMill
Automation and AIOps are fast becoming non-negotiable for network and infrastructure teams. But many teams struggle to turn the demand for automation into a sustainable, scalable capability within their organization.
The main reason isn’t an inability to write scripts and automate the deployment of network configs. Instead, the biggest blocker continues to be how hard it is to manage the infrastructure data that automation code and deployment tools depend on.
Without infrastructure data that’s always accurate, the rest of the automation stack and any AIOps initiatives ultimately fail. GIGO (garbage in, garbage out), as they say.
Before Infrahub, infrastructure intent data was handled by source of truth (SoT) tools developed over a decade ago, when network automation was in its infancy at most organizations. These tools were super helpful for getting teams started, but they were never designed to support the advanced data management that teams need as their automation scales.
We started OpsMill to address the critical blockers to effective automation that exist in other tools, and lay the foundation for AIOps.
From the beginning, we incorporated scalable data management and automation approaches, long proven effective in other industries, into Infrahub’s core.
We architected Infrahub as a knowledge graph, built on a flexible schema in a graph database. With this foundation, Infrahub supports any form of infrastructure without restrictions, along with the business logic needed to turn that infrastructure into consumable services.
We also included native support for version control, team-based change controls, rich metadata context, design-driven automation support, CI pipelines, and flexible data transformations.
The Industry’s Response to Infrahub
It was just over a year ago that we released Infrahub 1.0. Since then, we’ve seen automation teams enthusiastically embrace Infrahub after hitting a wall with fragmented, unscalable, and hard-to-maintain approaches to infrastructure data management.
That enthusiasm has led to Infrahub’s open-source adoption by retailers, insurance companies, manufacturers, and social media giants, as well as enterprise adoption by universities, fintechs, telecoms, cloud providers, and neoclouds.
From a sales perspective, 2025 brought the growth we hoped for and clearly proved that our vision had significant value for companies across a range of industries.
But what really hit home wasn’t so much the numbers as the ways that customers expressed their appreciation for what we’ve built.
When we started presenting our story to potential investors, one of the most enjoyable parts was sharing how our customers talk about us. Here are some of the quotes we shared with investors:
- “Infrahub fills a long-standing gap in the market. For years, companies have been forced to stitch together complex solutions to get anything close to what Infrahub delivers natively. Infrahub replaces that complex stack with a single platform that is easier to adopt, simpler to govern, and faster to deliver value from.”
Automation Engineer, Global Insurance Company
- “OpsMill has built the solution that we’ve been trying to build for 4 years internally, but couldn’t.”
Senior Network Engineer, Global Media and Entertainment Company
- “From our perspective, everything that we need to do in our organization, in terms of automation, will depend on Infrahub to work. Everything.”
Researcher, Public University
- “With Infrahub, we were able to deploy a new datacenter 15x faster than before.”
Network & Security Engineering Manager, Neocloud
- “Infrahub is a tailor-made solution for us, it’s the perfect fit. Building it wasn’t a viable option.”
Senior Director Infra & Automation, Financial Services Company.
What Comes Next
With our fundraising complete, we are investing in engineering and product management to support Infrahub’s expansion and reliability. Our focus is on continuing to ensure it can meet the needs of a rapidly expanding customer base in an industry that’s becoming increasingly aware of the technical and business challenges that Infrahub solves.
We’ll also be investing in our go-to-market teams and programs, including sales, marketing, and technical field ops, to help spread the OpsMill vision and support customers in realizing high value from Infrahub.
As part of our marketing program, we’re excited to continue sponsoring AutoCon, with AutoCon 5 in Munich coming up in June. We’re sponsoring and will present at ONUG’s AI Networking Summit events in Dallas in May and New York City in October, 2026. And we are excited to share that we’ll be exhibiting at Cisco Live in Las Vegas
And yes, we’re hiring! Check out our current job postings. If you think you’re the right fit or know someone who could be, please connect with us.
